The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) was started in 2010 with the introduction of the B.Tech program, initially admitting 120 students. Over the years, the intake has increased to 270, showcasing the department’s consistent growth and academic excellence. The M.Tech program was introduced in 2013 with an intake of 6 students. Recognized as a Research Centre by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), the department promotes research and innovation through advanced Centers of Excellence and laboratories such as AR/VR Lab, Intel Unnati Lab, and industry-supported AI Spry Lab. With strong placement records in reputed companies including Virtusa, Wipro, Big works and others, students have secured packages up to ₹26 LPA. Maintaining a pass percentage of around 85%, the department continues to deliver quality education and nurture future-ready computing professionals.
