Dr. R. Murali Prasad is a distinguished academician and seasoned administrator with over 32 years of experience in Engineering Education. Holding a B.Tech, M.Tech (Communications), and Ph.D. in WiMAX Systems, he has made significant contributions to Wireless Communications, 5G Networks, Signal Processing, and Image Processing, with 55 research publications, 5 patents, a textbook, and numerous conference papers. His career journey spans roles from Lecturer to Principal in leading institutions, marked by a commitment to academic planning, faculty development, research promotion, and holistic student mentoring.
Beyond academics, he has guided over 1.5 lakh students in GATE and Engineering Services examinations, helping more than 10 students secure All India First Ranks, reflecting his unique ability to translate expertise into student success. At MLRITM, he drives academic excellence, research culture, and holistic student development, fostering an environment of discipline, innovation, and growth. His leadership philosophy, “Excellence with Experience,” embodies a blend of scholarship, vision-driven guidance, and an unwavering commitment to nurturing future-ready engineers.
