Program Assessment & Quality Improvement Committee (PAQIC)

The Departmental Program Assessment and Quality Improvement Committee (PAQIC) is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and continuous monitoring of all academic activities.
Composition:
Head of the Department – Chairman
IC (UG and PG) members are selected to represent each departmental specialization. In smaller departments, the HOD may nominate faculty from other departments with Dean (Academic) approval. External members may be invited by the Convener for tasks like syllabus development or revision. The committee’s tenure is two years and its composition requires the Principal’s approval. The current composition of the PAQIC is as follows:

Roles & Responsibilities :
1 The Program Assessment and Quality Improvement Committee (PAQIC) shall have general oversight of all issues related to the processes of program review.
2 The committee will discuss about the facilities provided for the smooth running of program.
3 Initiating activities to enhance learning effectiveness.
4 Reviewing each year the assessment of program and recommending changes as needed.
5 Regularly review and update the curriculum to align with emerging technologies, industry trends, and academic advancements.
6 Determining priorities for future assessment activity.
