The EDC is professionally accomplished by a perfect blend of faculty and students. The coordinators are delegated with responsibilities for the smooth conduction of awareness programs, events and activities disseminating to the students in the campus. The prominence advisory board of EDC comprises of renowned well established entrepreneurs from various geographical regions whose ideas and expertise can be inspired. The EDC is there to offer appreciable recommendation on all aspects of entrepreneurship.

The Committee will monitor the measures taken by the Institute for the upliftment of students in respect of Entrepreneurial Development.

Functions and Responsibilities:

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) is a critical component of an educational

Institution, designed to foster entrepreneurship and encourage students to start their own

Ventures. Here are some typical roles and responsibilities of our Entrepreneurship Development Cell:

  • Awareness and Motivation: The EDC should conduct awareness programs and Motivational talks to inspire students about entrepreneurship. They should highlight the Benefits, challenges, and opportunities of starting one’s own venture.
  • Training and Workshops: The EDC often organizes training sessions, workshops, and Seminars on various aspects of entrepreneurship. This could include business plan

development, financing a startup, marketing, management, and more.

  • Mentorship and Guidance: The EDC should provide mentorship to budding entrepreneurs, helping them shape their ideas into viable business models. They should guide them through the process of starting and running a business.
  • Resource Provision: The EDC should facilitate resources needed by students to develop Their entrepreneurial ideas. This might involve providing space for ideation and work, access to research resources, or connections to industry experts.
  • Networking Opportunities: The EDC should provide opportunities for students to network with successful entrepreneurs, industry professionals, venture capitalists, and others who could provide valuable insights and resources.
  • Collaboration with Incubators and Accelerators: The EDC should establish relationships with business incubators and accelerators. This could provide students with opportunities for funding, mentorship, and resources to develop their startups.
  • Entrepreneurship Competitions: The EDC might organize entrepreneurship competitions to provide students with a platform to pitch their ideas and receive feedback.
  • Facilitating Internships: The EDC could facilitate internships or projects with startups or Entrepreneurial firms, providing students with practical exposure and understanding of the Entrepreneurial world.
