PLACEMENT AND TRAINING (PAT)

The Training & Placement Committee is professionally accomplished by a perfect blend of faculty and students. The coordinators are delegated with responsibilities for the smooth conduction of Placement Drive, Events and Activities disseminating to the Institutional Placement in the Campus. The members make all the efforts to bring the agencies for placement and arrange for campus placement interviews, make all arrangements for pre- placement talks, hospitality of interviewers / company ambassadors and will also make arrangements for strong industry-institution interaction by arranging lectures / seminars / training programmes of experts from industries / Govt. Public Sector / Defense etc., for preparing students for placement

Functions & Responsibilities:
  • To assist the Placement Cell in maintaining strong connections with alumni.
  • To support the Placement Cell in organizing various placement processes, including written tests, group discussions, technical interviews, and HR interviews during campus placement drives.
  • To organize initiatives that enhances Institute-Industry interaction.
  • To coordinate soft skills training programs across departments.
  • To inform students well in advance about upcoming placement drives and selection processes.
  • To guide students in preparing effectively for placement drives.
  • To facilitate internships for third- and fourth-year students.
  • To provide students with information about diverse career opportunities in today’s competitive job market.
  • To organize career development seminars and workshops.
  • To invite companies to engage with students and discuss career prospects.
  • To organize awareness programs on key industry trends and significant areas.
  • To mobilize resources for students in need of support when applying for jobs.
  • To organize guest lectures by industry experts focusing on career development.
  • To provide training in soft skills and personality development, crucial for securing employment and achieving long-term career success.
Frequency of Meeting: Minimum 2 times in a Semester or as needed
