For the smooth functioning of the institution, class work, and laboratory work, a reliable network to supply Solar & Electrical power network is quite essential. In order to take care of the day to day smooth functioning of the institution activities, a team of Experts and technicians are appointed who will be working under solar & electrical maintenance committee. the committee assures the proper maintenance of solar power & local electricity in the college – equipment and monitors the stocks for consumables which are needed for trouble free running of the institution.

The committee will also monitor the measures taken by the institute for the wellbeing of students in respect of Solar Power and Local power.

Functions and Responsibilities:

• To provide uninterrupted electrical power supply
• Installation, testing, commissioning operation and maintenance of electrical lines, cable, panels, capacitor units, equipment’s etc.
• Board electricity bill and energy meter inspection and reading report work
• Internal electrification work of all blocks based on necessity.
• Regular monitoring of the Solar Power and synchronize it with college.
• Inspection of Solar Panels and taking measures accordingly.
• Internal electrification of distribution and utilization work.
• Operation & maintenance of distribution transformers.
• Operation & maintenance of solar equipment & Diesel Generator set.
• Energy saving & energy audit management work.
• Electrical safety & electrical inspection work in the campus

Frequency of Meeting: Minimum 2 times in a Semester or as needed
