The Students Grievance Redressal Committee as per All India Council for Technical Education (redressal of Grievance Regulation, 2019 vide F.No1-101/PGRC/AICTE/Regulation/2019 dated 07.11.2019) is re-constituted with following members

Functions and Responsibilities:

• The Grievance Redressal Committee of Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology and Management follow the University Grants Commission (Redress of Grievance of Students) Regulations 2019.
• The complaints are attended promptly on receipt of written grievances from the students.
• The Committee formally meets to review all cases, prepares a statistical report about the number of cases received, attended to and the number of pending cases, if any, which require direction and guidance from the higher authorities.
• Facilitating and supervising co-curricular activities to enhance student engagement and development.
• Motivating students through awards, stipends, scholarships, medals, and prizes.
• Guiding students in leveraging placement and training opportunities to advance their careers.
• Constituting committees comprising faculty members and external experts to address specific academic issues and implementing their recommendations after due deliberation.
• Appointing review committees periodically to assess academic activities, including curricula and academic policies, and acting on their recommendations after careful evaluation.
• Strategizing and implementing plans for the institute’s overall academic growth, including periodic assessments, and making recommendations to the Governing Body as necessary.

Frequency of Meeting: Two times in a year
