Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor institutional quality systems and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Coordinate NAAC, NBA, UGC audits, AQAR, PASS, feedback mechanisms, and e-Governance.
  • Ensure LMS–ERP–Website integration, data integrity, cybersecurity, and analytics-based decisions.
  • Implement the institutional strategic plan and promote best teaching–learning practices.
  • Lead SDG initiatives and sustainability-focused institutional proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1. Human Resource Planning
    • Develop and implement the institution’s HR Policy and Human Resource Plan.
    • Assess faculty and staff requirements in coordination with the Principal/Director, Deans, and HODs.
    • Maintain appropriate faculty–student ratio and cadre ratio as per applicable norms.
    • Prepare department-wise manpower requirements based on programmes, student strength, workload, and institutional needs.
    • Maintain sanctioned, filled, vacant, and roster-wise faculty and staff position details in accordance with the approvals and norms of the Statutory Bodies and Governing Body of the Institute.
  • 2. Recruitment & Relieving Process
    • Coordinate recruitment of teaching, technical, administrative, and supporting staff as per approved manpower requirements.
    • Manage vacancy notifications, application scrutiny, shortlisting, interviews, demonstrations, selection, and appointment processes.
    • Ensure recruitment complies with AICTE, UGC, JNTUH, and other applicable norms, and maintain complete recruitment records.
    • Manage employee separation, including resignation, notice period, handover, exit interview, clearance, relieving/experience certificates, and attrition records.
  • 3. Employee Administration, Deployment & HR Systems
    • Coordinate employee onboarding and induction, including document verification, employee ID, official email, ERP/Anvaya access, biometric registration, and orientation on institutional policies, service rules, roles, and responsibilities.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential employee service records covering qualifications, experience, appointments, promotions, increments, salary details, appraisals, workload, leave, and other employment information.
    • Coordinate with HODs, Deans, and Officers-in-Charge for effective manpower deployment, workload distribution, additional responsibilities, and replacement arrangements against vacancies or long-term leave.
    • Monitor attendance, biometric records, punctuality, working hours, absenteeism, and leave administration, including all applicable categories of leave.
    • Strengthen and periodically update the Anvaya-based HR Management System, digitizing employee profiles, attendance, leave, workload, appraisal, training, service records, and other HR processes.
    • Develop and maintain HR dashboards for manpower, vacancies, qualifications, experience, attendance, workload, retention, and other key HR indicators.
  • 4. Employee Relations, Discipline, Retention & Benefits
    • Establish effective mechanisms for employee grievance redressal, ensuring fair, confidential, and timely resolution and maintaining appropriate records.
    • Ensure adherence to Service Rules, Code of Conduct, professional ethics, discipline, punctuality, accountability, and workplace policies, and coordinate corrective or disciplinary procedures wherever required.
    • Monitor employee turnover, conduct exit interviews, identify reasons for employees leaving, and recommend measures for improving employee retention and workplace satisfaction.
    • Identify potential academic and administrative leaders and facilitate succession planning and leadership development for key institutional responsibilities.
    • Coordinate with Management and Accounts regarding salary structures, increments, allowances, PF, ESI, gratuity, and other applicable employee benefits.
    • Promote regular HR policy awareness and maintain a professional, respectful, inclusive, and supportive work environment.
  • 5. HR Compliance, Accreditation, Review & Reporting
    • Ensure appointments, faculty cadre, qualifications, experience, and other HR requirements comply with AICTE, UGC, JNTUH, Government, and other applicable statutory/regulatory norms.
    • Coordinate faculty selection/approval processes with the affiliating University and provide verified HR information for inspections, statutory submissions, and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain verified faculty and staff data and supporting documents required for NAAC, NBA, NIRF, AICTE, UGC, AISHE, JNTUH, and other accreditation/ranking exercises.
    • Ensure consistency and periodic verification of employee information across institutional records, Anvaya/ERP, accreditation databases, and regulatory portals.
    • Conduct periodic HR Review Meetings with HODs, Deans, and concerned authorities to review manpower, vacancies, attendance, retention, performance, and other HR matters.
    • Prepare department-wise HR indicators, periodic HR reports, and an Annual HR Report covering major areas such as manpower, recruitment, retention, employee development, performance, compliance, and welfare.
  • 6. Faculty & Staff Career Development, Progression & Welfare
    • Establish transparent processes for promotions, increments, career progression, role enhancement, and recognition based on qualifications, experience, performance, research, institutional contributions, and applicable norms.
    • Plan and support faculty and staff professional development, including Ph.D., Post-Doctoral studies, QIPs, certifications, training programmes, and other opportunities for career advancement.
    • Promote employee welfare, engagement, motivation, recognition, and workplace satisfaction through appropriate initiatives, feedback mechanisms, and welfare measures.
    • Maintain systematic records of promotions, increments, redesignations, professional development, employee recognition, welfare initiatives, and career progression.
    • Maintain and systematically manage the documentary repository of the Director’s Office, ensuring proper organization, updating, confidentiality, security, and timely retrieval of institutional records and official documents.
    • Annual Documentation & Knowledge Sharing Ensure systematic annual documentation of activities, achievements, and supporting proofs, and facilitate knowledge sharing in coordination with the Dean–IQAC for quality assurance, accreditation, and institutional reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1. Admissions & Student Onboarding
    • Coordinate and supervise admission-related activities for B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, Lateral Entry, and other programmes offered by the institution.
    • Ensure systematic verification of educational credentials and other prescribed documents of admitted students in accordance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
    • Coordinate the issuance of admission orders, student identity cards, and other essential onboarding documentation.
    • Oversee preparation, verification, finalisation, and submission of admission merit lists and related information to the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), University, and other competent authorities.
    • Ensure timely preparation and submission of documentation required for admission ratification by the University, Technical Education authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
    • Coordinate hostel admission and related student onboarding requirements in consultation with the concerned authorities.
  • 2. Student Records, IMS & Regulatory Data
    • Ensure accurate creation, maintenance, verification, and periodic updating of student records in the Institute Management System (IMS/Anvaya) and other institutional databases.
    • Ensure timely and accurate entry, validation, and updating of admitted student data on University, AICTE, and other statutory/regulatory portals.
    • Oversee the preparation, verification, and circulation of student nominal rolls for every semester.
    • Ensure preparation and maintenance of comprehensive student registers for B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, Lateral Entry, and other programmes as prescribed.
    • Maintain the integrity, confidentiality, accuracy, and accessibility of student records and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
  • 3. Scholarships, Financial Assistance & Student Facilitation
    • Coordinate the complete institutional process relating to scholarships, including institutional scholarships, merit scholarships, government scholarships, and scholarships offered by external agencies.
    • Ensure timely identification of eligible students, verification of applications and supporting documents, submission to appropriate authorities, and systematic maintenance of scholarship records.
    • Facilitate financial assistance and institutional support for economically disadvantaged and deserving students in accordance with approved policies.
    • Coordinate student concession and facilitation services, including TSRTC, Railway, and other eligible student travel/pass concessions.
  • 4. Hostel Welfare & Student Amenities
    • Coordinate with hostel authorities to ensure the welfare, discipline, safety, and overall well-being of hostel students.
    • Perform the role of institutional/local guardian and faculty advisor for hostel students wherever required.
    • Periodically assess student requirements and recommend appropriate amenities, facilities, and support services to enhance the overall student experience.
    • Monitor the effectiveness and accessibility of institutional services provided to students and recommend improvements wherever necessary.
  • 5. Student Leadership, Engagement & Campus Life
    • Plan and coordinate major student-centric programmes, including Student Induction, Orientation Day, Graduation Day, Annual Day, technical and cultural festivals, sports meets, professional development programmes, and other co-curricular and extracurricular activities in collaboration with the respective conveners.
  • 6. Documentation, Compliance & Reporting
    • Ensure systematic documentation of student-related meetings, activities, committees, programmes, interventions, scholarships, admissions, and support services.
    • Ensure timely preparation and submission of student-related reports, records, data, and supporting documents required by the University, DTE, AICTE, accreditation agencies, statutory authorities, and institutional management.
    • Maintain appropriate records and evidence pertaining to student services for accreditation, ranking, audit, statutory compliance, and institutional quality assurance requirements.
  • 7. Institutional Coordination & Continuous Improvement
    • Collaborate with the Director/Principal, Deans, Heads of Departments, IQAC, Physical Directors, faculty mentors, administrative sections, and student bodies for the effective delivery of student services.
    • Undertake any other student-related responsibilities assigned by the Director/Principal from time to time in the interest of students and institutional development.
    • Annual Documentation & Knowledge Sharing - Ensure systematic annual documentation of activities, achievements, and supporting proofs, and facilitate knowledge sharing in coordination with the Dean–IQAC for quality assurance, accreditation, and institutional reporting.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • 1. Academic Planning & Governance
    • Plan, coordinate, monitor, and review all academic activities, regulations, policies, and procedures of the institution.
  • 2. Academic Council & Boards of Studies
    • Coordinate the constitution and functioning of the Academic Council and Boards of Studies (BoS), including meetings, agendas, minutes, approvals, and implementation of decisions.
  • 3. Academic Regulations, Curriculum & Course Structure
    • Prepare, revise, maintain, and implement Academic Regulations for UG and PG programmes in accordance with institutional and statutory requirements. Coordinate the development and periodic revision of course structures and curricula in line with academic standards, emerging technologies, industry needs, employability, and higher education requirements.
  • 4. Syllabus Development & Course / Subject Codes
    • Coordinate preparation, review, expert validation, approval, and periodic revision of syllabi through the respective BoS, Course Expert Committee, and Academic Council. Maintain a standardized system for allotment and management of course/subject codes and ensure proper mapping with programmes, semesters, regulations, credits, and batches.
  • 5. Academic Calendars & Timetables
    • Prepare and monitor the Institutional Academic Calendar and coordinate departmental calendars, master timetables, academic schedules, examinations, internships, and project activities.
  • 6. Teaching–Learning Monitoring
    • Monitor curriculum implementation, syllabus coverage, teaching plans, course files, laboratory schedules, faculty-evaluated laboratory records, faculty workload, and other academic records.
  • 7. Examination Coordination
    • Coordinate with the Controller of Examinations on course structures, regulations, course codes, credits, syllabi, examination schemes, and other academic matters related to examinations.
  • 8. New Programmes & Curriculum Revisions
    • Coordinate academic proposals for new programmes, specializations, minors, honours, electives, and interdisciplinary courses, and process them through the appropriate statutory academic bodies.
  • 9. Faculty Academic Planning
    • Coordinate with HODs for faculty course allocation, workload planning, faculty preparedness, and training required for new or revised courses.
  • 10. Academic Documentation & Digital Records
    • Maintain centralized and updated records of regulations, curricula, syllabi, course codes, Academic Council/BoS proceedings, academic calendars, circulars, and approvals with proper version control.
  • 11. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure academic compliance with UGC, AICTE, NEP 2020, JNTUH, State Government, Autonomous Institute requirements, and other applicable statutory/regulatory guidelines.
  • 12. Academic Review & Continuous Improvement
    • Conduct periodic academic reviews, monitor implementation of Academic Council and BoS decisions, identify academic gaps, initiate corrective measures, and submit Academic Governance/Performance Reports to the Principal/Director.
    • Annual Documentation & Knowledge Sharing Ensure systematic annual documentation of activities, achievements, and supporting proofs, and facilitate knowledge sharing in coordination with the Dean–IQAC for quality assurance, accreditation, and institutional reporting.

  • 1. Skill Development
    • Plan, coordinate, and monitor semester-wise boot camps, technical training programmes, skill development initiatives, and value-added programmes in alignment with institutional academic objectives.
    • Organize specialized boot camps in emerging and frontier technologies including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, IoT, Robotics, Semiconductor Technologies, VLSI, Electric Vehicles, and other relevant domains.
    • Plan and conduct 45-hour coding boot camps, hackathons, coding challenges, and programming competitions to strengthen students' programming, analytical, computational, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Plan and coordinate professional training programmes aimed at developing proficiency in contemporary software tools, platforms, technologies, and industry practices for Faculty, Staff and Students.
    • Ensure timely and effective completion of training programmes without adversely affecting the academic calendar.
  • 2. Centres of Excellence (CoEs) & Industry-Supported Laboratories
    • Develop CoEs as platforms for advanced learning, industry training, research, innovation, product development, certifications, and faculty capacity building.
    • Promote optimum utilization of CoE infrastructure by students and faculty across departments.
    • Periodically evaluate CoE performance based on utilization, student outcomes, certifications, projects, innovation, research, and industry engagement.
    • Advanced Learning Initiatives for faculty and Students which addresses the current real world requirement and the Course Structure.
    • Facilitate access to modern software platforms, cloud environments, AI/ML frameworks, simulation tools, data analytics platforms, development environments, and high-performance computing resources.
  • 3. Faculty Capacity Building through Advanced Learning
    • Promote project-based learning, experiential learning, challenge-based learning, product development, and prototype creation through CoEs and advanced laboratories.
    • Encourage students to participate in hackathons, coding competitions, innovation challenges, industry projects, and interdisciplinary technology initiatives.
    • Encourage the transformation of promising student projects into prototypes, products, IPR/Patents, publications, and startups, in coordination with the concerned institutional units.
    • Organize and encourage the faculty members continuously upgrade their technical competencies through Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), workshops, technical training, certification programmes, and train-the-trainer initiatives in emerging technologies and industry practices.
    • Develop internal faculty expertise to ensure the long-term sustainability of institutional training programmes and Centres of Excellence.
  • 4. Infrastructure, Procurement & Resource Utilization
    • Assess infrastructure requirements for skill-development programmes, CoEs, industry laboratories, and computational facilities.
    • Coordinate procurement, installation, licensing, maintenance, calibration, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), and modernization of equipment and technology resources.
    • Ensure optimum utilization and sharing of institutional facilities and resources across departments.
    • Monitor utilization of laboratories, software licenses, cloud resources, computing infrastructure, and specialized equipment to ensure cost-effectiveness and institutional benefit.
  • 5. Monitoring, Assessment & Continuous Improvement
    • Evaluate programme effectiveness through student performance, certification results, feedback, utilization statistics, project outcomes, placement outcomes, and stakeholder inputs.
    • Conduct periodic reviews and recommend corrective measures and continuous improvements based on measurable outcomes.
    • Benchmark institutional skill-development initiatives against industry standards, technological advancements, and best practices of leading institutions.
    • Maintain systematic evidence and documentation required for NBA, NAAC, AICTE, NIRF, university, and other statutory/accreditation requirements.
    • Prepare and submit periodic performance reports to the Principal/Director covering activities, utilization, achievements, outcomes, challenges, and future plans.
    • Present semester-wise and annual performance of boot camps, training programmes, certifications, CoEs, laboratories, and computational facilities.
    • Develop action plans based on performance reviews and ensure timely implementation of approved improvements.

  • 1. Teaching–Learning Strategy & Academic Excellence
    • Develop and implement the Institute’s Teaching, Learning, and Educational Technology Strategy in alignment with its Vision, Mission, and strategic objectives.
    • Promote student-centric, outcome-based, experiential, project-based, blended, and technology-enabled teaching-learning practices to enhance academic quality and student learning.
    • Strengthen classroom and laboratory teaching through academic audits, classroom observations, faculty mentoring, and systematic review of teaching-learning practices.
    • Foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, collaboration, professionalism, ethical practices, and continuous improvement among faculty and students.
  • 2. Outcome-Based Education (OBE) & Assessment
    • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), including the formulation, review, mapping, assessment, and attainment of COs, POs, PSOs, and PEOs.
    • Establish effective assessment and evaluation practices to measure student learning outcomes, analyse attainment levels, identify gaps, and facilitate appropriate corrective actions.
    • Coordinate OBE implementation with departments and ensure alignment with the requirements of AICTE, NBA, NAAC, JNTUH, and other relevant academic and accreditation frameworks.
    • Monitor and periodically review the effectiveness of OBE and assessment practices to drive measurable improvement in student learning outcomes.
  • 3. Pedagogical Innovation & Educational Technology
    • Promote innovative pedagogies and the effective integration of LMS, MOOCs, NPTEL, SWAYAM, virtual laboratories, AI-enabled teaching tools, and other educational technologies into the teaching-learning process.
    • Encourage the development and effective utilization of high-quality e-content, video lectures, interactive learning modules, digital course materials, and other technology-enabled instructional resources.
    • Recommend appropriate textbooks, instructional resources, laboratory facilities, software, and educational technologies required for effective curriculum delivery and enhanced learning experiences.
  • 4. Faculty Development & Teaching Excellence
    • Plan and coordinate Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), workshops, orientation programmes, and training initiatives to strengthen faculty competencies in pedagogy, OBE, assessment practices, educational technology, and emerging teaching-learning approaches.
    • Facilitate the induction, mentoring, continuous professional development, and teaching effectiveness of faculty members.
    • Identify areas requiring pedagogical improvement and facilitate appropriate capacity-building interventions to continuously enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
  • 5. Academic Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
    • Coordinate curriculum implementation, academic planning, teaching schedules, and teaching-learning quality initiatives in collaboration with Heads of Departments and other academic units.
    • Ensure compliance and systematic documentation related to teaching-learning, OBE, assessment, and educational quality for AICTE, NBA, NAAC, JNTUH, NIRF, IQAC, and other statutory/accreditation requirements.
    • Oversee the implementation of PAQIC resolutions and monitor associated continuous quality improvement initiatives across the Institute.
    • Periodically evaluate teaching-learning effectiveness, OBE attainment, faculty development, and student learning outcomes, and submit consolidated reports and recommendations to the Principal/Director and Governing Body.
    • Undertake any other academic responsibilities assigned by the Principal/Director in furtherance of the Institute’s academic excellence and strategic objectives.
    • Annual Documentation & Knowledge Sharing - Ensure systematic annual documentation of activities, achievements, and supporting proofs, and facilitate knowledge sharing in coordination with the Dean–IQAC for quality assurance, accreditation, and institutional reporting.
