The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), established in 2009 with a B.Tech program and an M.Tech in Embedded Systems added in 2012, is a recognized Research Centre under Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University, Hyderabad and will offer Ph.D. programs from 2025. The department focuses on four key areas: circuits and systems, signal processing, computing, and communication-offering NBA-accredited B.Tech programs (2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025) with courses in IoT, VLSI, robotics, and communications. Equipped with advanced tools like MATLAB, LabVIEW, Xilinx, and Ansys HFSS, it maintains a 90% placement rate, averaging ₹5 LPA with a highest package of ₹24 LPA. Faculty expertise spans VLSI, embedded systems, IoT, and signal processing, supported by experiential learning through lectures, MOOCs, and hands-on labs. Well-equipped laboratories and continuous infrastructure upgrades foster innovation, research, and practical exposure. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is offering GATE coaching for B.Tech students to help them excel in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.The M.Tech in Embedded Systems, a two-year AICTE-approved program (intake of 6 via GATE/PGECET), blends hardware and software design to produce skilled, industry-ready engineers.
