To comprehensively represent the status of higher education in India, the Ministry of Human Resource Development has been administering the All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) annually through a web-based platform since 2010–11.

The AISHE survey encompasses all higher education institutions across the nation and systematically collects detailed information on multiple parameters, including faculty strength, student enrolment, academic programmers, examination outcomes, financial resources, and infrastructure facilities. The collected data is utilized to derive critical performance indicators such as Institutional Density, Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER), Pupil–Teacher Ratio (PTR), Gender Parity Index (GPI), and Per Student Expenditure (PSE), which collectively reflect the progress and quality of higher education in the country.

Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology and Management (MLRITM) actively participates in the AISHE process and ensures the timely submission and successful uploading of institutional data in strict adherence to the prescribed guidelines and timelines.
