Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEO 1Success in Electrical Engineering : To provide students with knowledge of Basic Sciences in general and Electrical and electronics Engineering to acquire the necessary skills for analysis and synthesis of problems in generation, transmission and distribution.
PEO 2Industrial awareness and research: To provide technical knowledge and skills to identify, comprehend and solve complex tasks in industry and research and inspire the students to become future researchers / scientists with innovative ideas.
PEO 3Successful employment and professional ethics: To prepare the students for successful employment in various industrial and government organizations, both at the national and international level, with professional competence and ethical administrative acumen to handle critical situations and meet deadlines.
PEO 4Being a leader professional and societal environment: To train the students in basic human and technical communication skills so that they may be both good team-members, leaders and responsible citizens.

PO1Engineering Knowledge: Apply knowledge of mathematics, natural science, computing, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization as specified in WK1 to WK4 respectively to develop solutions to complex engineering problems.
PO2Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions with consideration for sustainable development. (WK1 to WK4)
PO3Design/Development of Solutions: Design creative solutions for complex engineering problems and develop systems/components/processes to meet identified needs with consideration for public health, safety, whole-life cost, net zero carbon, culture, society and environment. (WK5)
PO4Conduct Investigations of Complex Problems: Conduct investigations using research-based knowledge including design of experiments, modelling, analysis and interpretation of data to provide valid conclusions. (WK8)
PO5Engineering Tool Usage: Create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources and modern engineering & IT tools, including prediction and modelling, recognizing their limitations to solve complex engineering problems. (WK2 and WK6)
